The UK Wedding Shows
The UK Wedding Shows was set up by Linda Williams in 1985 when she started to arrange one day bridal fairs at locations all across the UK. The fairs were held at different locations utilising the facilities of the major hotel chains, and Linda was involved in 70 fairs each year. With a passion for all aspects of weddings, Linda realised that there was a market for brides who wanted to source all of their main suppliers at the same time or wanted to speak to different companies about the services that they could offer for a wedding, and it was this that sparked the development of the large two day exhibitions that The UK Wedding Shows currently organise.
The one day bridal fairs remain a part of The UK Wedding Shows portfolio some twenty five years later, but the company has expanded over the intervening years to a team of nine staff who now organise the two day wedding exhibitions at some of the UK’s most prestigious venues.
Even in the face of recession the company has gone from strength to strength with new venues, use of social media, glowing testimonials and industry awards from Bridal Show Producers International. The company organise the exhibitions at eight venues across the UK, welcoming thousands of visitors each year.
Their website incorporates information about the shows and venues, an online booking facility, video footage and photographs of the shows, a directory of suppliers, a blog and much more. The intention is to further heighten the business profile and brand through sponsorship and an extensive survey of UK brides.

Brides will be interested to see what they can experience at a UK Wedding Shows exhibition by watching this feature on the Lancashire One Show programme shown on Sky 203 recently.
