Smiley Booth at The West of England Wedding Show

Wednesday, February 5th, 2014

Your wedding entertainment is one of the most important parts of your wedding planning and not suprisingly one of the things brides-to-be worry about the most. You’ll want to ensure your guests have a great time and that everything runs smoothly but most importantly you should be able to relax and enjoy your evening reception and have fun with friends and family.

A photo booth does it all. It provides excellent entertainment (just wait until you hear the laughter coming from the booth) and memories that will last a lifetime. Your guests get a photo momento (or several as is often the case) and you get a guestbook brimming with photos and messages from loved ones.

At the West of England Wedding Show we will be showcasing our brand new product, Party Print. Party Print enables your guests to send their own photographs taken throughout the day on their smart phones or tablets to the photo booth to be printed. These pictures are also saved onto disc for the Bride and Groom and can also be personalised with the same borders/text as the photo booth photos. Its the modern version of the old disposable table cameras which were popular a few years ago without the headache of getting the photos developed. You get to see all those spontaneous moments that you might have missed and the guests get a copy too. This is usually priced at £199 but will be just £99 this weekend, 8th and 9th February, as a special show offer.

Other popular entertainment options include Fun Casino Tables - nothing like a bit of friendly competition to get the party going, Close-up Magic - perfect during your drinks reception, retro games, fireworks, mimes and more. Of course you’re going to need music too but will it be a live band or DJ? We’ve noticed Kareoke is making a bit of a come back - how about recording a videoke in the booth (yes, we do that too).

Whatever you choose, keep the following in mind:

1 Don’t have too much. It can be tempting to have it all and throw the party of a lifetime but the reality is your guests become too segregated and will ultimately be overwhelmed.

2 Do your homework. Unfortunately we’ve seen many photo booth companies come and go over the last few years leaving upset brides in their wake. It’s true of any industry but your wedding day is important. Check the company’s reviews and facebook page as well as their website and make sure they have the correct insurance and elecrical certificates. Wedding shows are fantastic as you get to meet the people who will have such a big impact on your special day.

With Smiley Booth you can rest assured you are in safe hands. As the first event photo booth company in the UK we are very experienced and all our staff are friendly and professional. We are exhibiting in February 2014, so come and see us on stand number 125 and we can chat all about how to get the most out of your wedding entertainment, and you can have a picture too!

Shoot Boutique

Thursday, September 26th, 2013

Shoot Boutique manages to combine the fun and enjoyment of a photo booth, with the high quality prints and sets of a photo studio.

Our range of different packages are based on the length of hire and the products that accompany the Shoot Boutique; from thank you cards, to framed and mounted pictures. Our Pearl package is the most popular, which gives brides and grooms four hours “shooting” time and includes a high quality, leather guestbook full of the large high quality prints along with their personal messages.

The Shoot Boutique can be totally transformed to suit your wedding theme, with inter-changeable backgrounds (we even have green screen capabilities), floors and chairs. We even offer a bespoke service if you wanted something special and personal to you on your wedding.
