Fantastic Manchester Wedding Show

The Manchester Central show which took place 29th and 30th October was a fantastic success with over 110 exhibitors attending. The show was very busy with some exhibitors reporting unprecedented numbers of bookings at the show. The UK Wedding Shows team strive to feature unusual products and services and this show featured a vintage VW camper ice cream van from Ice Cream Dub, casino table from Pier Casinos and an F1 car simulator from Formula One events amongst others. Stefans Jewellers, Village Hotel, Exquisite Rooms and Balloons, Crystal Bouquets by Tilly who shared a stand with Eleventh Heaven, all had a fantastic show and that’s before we even get to the exhibitors who were winners of The UK Wedding Shows awards!

The organisers were delighted to be joined by Brad Buckles from the US, who was presenting an award for International Recognition to the exhibitor who he was most impressed with at the show.

This was one of four awards that were made at the event to recognise the hard work that the exhibitors put in when they attend a show. Brad has a great deal of experience as the founder and president of Bridesclub.com and wanted to participate in the event as much as possible. His award went to Fiona Pickles from Firenza Floral Design who really impressed him with her stylish floral arrangements. Brad loved the atmosphere of the show and enjoyed having the opportunity to chat with exhibitors and brides alike; he has gone back to the US inspired and eager to share his experience with all of his followers through Bridesclub.com. The award for Longstanding Exhibitor went to Adina Designer Bridal Headwear, New Exhibitor to Athena Weddings and Most Creative Stand to Red Floral Architecture. Entertainment at the show was provided by Unit One Entertainment and Freddie Just Cool Covers and of course no show would be complete without the award winning fashion show. The catwalk show featured bridal, menswear and mother of the bride outfits from Confetti Box, Fairytale Bride, The Wedding Shop, Maria Modes, Florentyna Dawn, Moss Hire and Slaters.
