WHAT FILE FORMAT DO YOU USE?
Most professional photographers use a file format called RAW. A RAW file is unprocessed information (like film negatives).
WHAT EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE?
As a company we shoot on a combination of professional grade medium format Phase One, and DSLR Canon 1DX/5D mark iii cameras. We also have specialist Elinchrom flash systems and continuous lighting torches to supplement natural light.
DO YOU EDIT YOUR IMAGES?
We edit all images in house. It is now common for photography companies to outsource editing. We pride ourselves that we are trained to edit images to the highest standard. Blemishes are removed, the subject is enhanced and any distractions are removed from the image such as fire escape signs. We consult with you to discuss any personal requests during the editing process. At our consultations and fayres we demonstrate the editing process and techniques live and show you the images before and after processing.
CAN I GIVE YOU A LIST OF SPECIFIC SHOTS WE WOULD LIKE?
We provide an extensive wedding planning and shoot design service. We encourage you to make a comprehensive Pinterest board, view our real weddings and create a magazine scrapbook so that we can better understand your likes and dislikes. Within our questionnaire we guide you through selecting shots to capture all aspects of your day.
It is unfortunate that some photographers are now using images sourced from the web to promote their company rather than using their own work. This means that the images taken do not accurately represent the skill level or quality of work that can be produced by that individual. Ask your photographer to show you full weddings to ensure consistency. Please ask us for gallery links.
