Let is snow, let it snow, let it snow! We couldn’t help but feel all warm and fuzzy with this winter white wedding featured in You and Your Wedding Magazine thanks to an unpredicted winter blizzard!

Newlyweds Carly and Chris Atwill may have been hoping for a white wedding when they tied the knot last weekend, but they got a bit more than they bargained for when a freak blizzard hit during the proceedings!

By the time they said their vows at Lartington Hall in County Durham, eight inches of snow had fallen, meaning they got the winter wonderland theme they dreamed of. The bride told Metro, “We stayed at Lartington Hall overnight and when we woke up it was spitting with rain and grey and miserable, so we weren’t expecting much from the weather. Then at around 10am it started to sleet and gradually got heavier and heavier and began settling on the grass.

After the ceremony we went outside and it looked so magical, the snow was about eight inches deep and as we stood outside it settled on my dress and there was an inch on our umbrella.”

Photographer Paul Liddement managed to get a few gorgeous wedding pics in the snow before the blizzard suddenly stopped, meaning the guests could all get home after the big day.

We’re pretty sure that’s as close to a Christmas miracle as it gets.
